On one hand, Big Yud explicitly disavows the notion that calmheadedness is a sign of rationality in the sequences. On the other hand, take a look at the topics of conversation and moderation policy at /r/ssc and you can see that in practice this tweet is right on the money. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: Amusingly, if I type the male shrug emote on my phone it displays fine, but on my computer it displays as the female shrug emote with a male symbol to the right. Anyone else noticing this?
