Did you know 'applause' is a kind of 'social technology'? (https://www.reddit.com/r/slatestarcodex/comments/9x323i/applause_vs_jazz_hands/)

Honestly, this was far more sneerworthy than what you put in the title:

From my perspective, deaf-inclusion and not-triggering-autistic-people seems like minor benefits

Mmmmm…. How ’bout dat overzealous application of profundity to mundane things?

If you just look hard enough, you can see ~~beauty~~ reasons to discriminate against others in all things.

I’m giggling from my chair, AKA an instance of “seating technology.”

Douglas Adams wrote that the reason chairs aren't technology is that no one expects them to regularly malfunction. Once something leaves the "kinda broken" stage it is no longer technology. Also, true story, my rabbi calls Judaism a kind of moral technology.
so is your rabbi intentionally calling Judaism "kinda broken"?
If ever I find a "moral technology" as reliable as chairs are, I'm going to get very excited.
the "golden rule" might qualify
It's a good first approximation and my default stance, but the golden rule would rule out the existence of this subreddit, for instance.

Imagine appealing to architect-speak to defend pretentiousness
Your posts are machines for eye-rolling
Props for this username, being fair
Quality sneer
Sneering technology.
Because it's pretentious and vapid, and if you think the only worthy sneers are at outright incorrect arguments, you don't belong on this sub.
