Mostly, this is a fan post because I think the regulars in

The human brain has something like 10,000 synapses per second of
average human life expectancy, but sure, uncertainty about the
mechanisms/foundations of human cognition is just like willful ignorance
about a system which can be described with extremely high precision
using a few million parameters. I guess.
