"If your model has at most 3 parameters, you're doing statistics. If your problem is NP-hard in general, you're doing machine learning. If your problem is PSPACE-hard in general, you're doing AI. If you don't know what 'PSPACE-hard' means, you're doing data science."

I'm gonna grouchy old man here, just can't help myself. When I took Leo Breiman's class in grad school, we proved theorems about random forests, and we called it statistics as the chalk dust gradually eroded our lungs and our sanity...
