At first I thought this was just extremely cringe but real.
But after reading the other posts I agree that this appears to be satire.
[Poes law](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe%27s_law) strikes again!
The other day, I was forced to break up with my girlfriend, Alice. We
had an interesting but ultimately bittersweet conversation about our
different needs. She had always told me that I should be honest with
her, so I opened up about where I felt our relationship was going wrong.
To do this, I needed to explain what men need from a relationship, and
in turn, I would need to introduce her to some basic concepts within
evolutionary psychology.
Because they are heroics travellers on the ship rationalism looking for the golden book of thinking while ending the hydra of irrationality. It shows that the deep path of heroesm they are on is connected through the ages.
It prob is just a funny name and a nice parody of the tendency of various parts of rationalism (and nrx) to use a lot of mythological and mystical concepts. (Moloch, kaballa, Cthulu's swimming direction in the political compas etc). Ow and also the weird tendency of far right groups the think of themselves as modern day spartans.
Slowly starving to death while I try to invent trigonometry with my
extra-rational mind, so I can kill mammoths that aren’t moving along
cardinal axes.
I thought we established that this is satire…
Apparently didn’t learn that lesson.
It took me longer than I’d like to admit to realize that was satire
Why would anyone want to be called “thinkonauts”?

This is quality.
