To be fair to him, I tried looking at it and the us stats are unhelpful as fuck. They combine everything into something like 'murder' and something like 'unintentional fatal wounds'. (Not even traffic accidents is in their own category). I didn't look that long btw.
Police arent required to report their stats to any federal database (this is on purpose to obfuscate their corruption and the fact that they are essentially an organized crime ring with legal immunities) so gathering this kind of data in a comprehensive manner is practically impossible
I take back all my criticism of people working on AI alignment. The bot writing Yud’s posts is dangerously close to self-awareness.
