both Thellim’s and Keltham’s annoyance at waking up at sunrise and both
of their belief that an optimal sleeping surface should hug/squeeze the
person). In the carefully optimized society of dath ilan, this isn’t a
major disadvantage, but to Cheliax, where school children literally have
to whip each other and constantly lie to themselves and each other to
survive it would be a critical disadvantage.
To actually answer Yud’s question… given that Keltham is a
rationalist… he will come up with a calculation that mistakenly
massively exaggerates his genetic value and demands maximum money. The
soul-backed money (mentioned in part 3 page one hundred something of an
early glow fic roleplay) Cheliax will pay in will make Keltham count as
lawful evil, giving Asmodeus extra insight into Keltham’s soul and
thereby dooming all of Golarion once Asmodeus reverse engineers nuclear
physics from Keltham’s memories. Golarion’s only hope is that Keltham
can annoy Cheliax into exiling him to Osirion! Lucky for Golarion
Keltham is a true rationalist and well on his way to succeeding at
this!
