Emil was ordered to pay the defendant £36,000 in the lawsuit he lost. He refused to pay and missed the deadline so is in contempt and gave the High Court an incorrect Danish address (not where he currently lives) to try to prevent debt collection. This is perjury since he was under oath when he lied and provided the fake address to the court.

I suppose my upbringing inculcated a healthy if somewhat contradictory sense of all narcissism, self-awareness, occasional religiosity, and irony. The unhealthy parts came too but that’s a matter for another time.

I have, to be fair, it doesn't really apply to him, as the main char is a disgusting slob mad at the decay of the world and then spends his time being mad and only writing and shouting about it. Which is why people joke the NRx people would be bloggers. But people like Kirkegaard actually do stuff (like setting up fake academia systems) so they are a bit more dangerous.
