everyone is in denial that everything will “return to normal” when trump dies, and hoping that happens within this 2nd term. mind you “normal” in that sense is unsustainable ratfucking of any and all public funds to the detriment of everything else

…when he dies and nothing else changes…

that’s when shit goes from bad to worse real fucking quick

404 Media is journalist owned (there are four of them) and they’re doing some of the best journalism in the USA lately. I signed up about a year ago and don’t regret it. If you’ve got the extra cash and you actually give a damn about our broken media landscape, you could find a lot worse places to spend it.

No way they could explain how to do that to these apes. Apple and Google are complicit in this, they like being able to bribe Trump. Probably just need to add their name to the list of people that can see it in the app store.

No, they are just using a standard MDM solution. Device gets setup on the organization Mobile Device Management system, and it has its own app store with the apps the business uses. There is not requirement for apps to be listed in the App Store or Play Store. Any business can provide their own apps for use in their MDM system.

Serious answer to non-serious question, corpos can deliver apps to phones past app stores, e.g. intune/company portal etc.

Fucking excuse me? An app is supposed to override my goddamn birth certificate? Absolutely not. In fact, I’ll be damned if I let a cop scan my face without putting up a fight. I’m walking away unless detained, and if I’m detained, I’m not doing a fucking thing until I have my lawyer.

Edit: Look up and commit to memory the phone number of your local chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, if you don’t already have an attorney’s contact information ready at hand.

There’s no due process anymore. Why do you believe you’ll ever be granted a lawyer, let alone a phone call, or a court date? They’re just out there assaulting and disappearing people.

Why would I give in without putting up a fight? Is throwing my hands up and going “oops, no due process, out of luck” going to do me any good? I’m sure they’ll try to do illegal things, but courts do still exist, and I want them to have to fight tooth and nail to be allowed to do what they want

Well you either submit and risk getting deported or you resist and likely just end up dead or with life long injuries and deported.

You arnt owed due process since your arnt ever arrested. You don’t go to court.

Ice is superceding the system by just side stepping it.

An app is supposed to override my goddamn birth certificate?

The issueance of said birth certificates is a power reserved to the states, and state-issued documents must be given full faith and credit. US citizenship is supposed to be secondary to someone’s citizenship to the state. So, if the states have to give them credit, so too must the federal government.

I wish you well but you may be underestimating how far down we’ve gone. If you try to walk away or put up a fight, and you will be swarmed by cops who will take you to the ground with no concern for the injury they are doing. At the least you will be bleeding, at the worst you’ll get some broken ribs or worse.

Once they’re done beating on you, you will be detained, I won’t say arrested, and you will be taken to an ICE facility where you will not get a phone call or access to a lawyer or medical care. After a day or two, maybe less, you will be transferred to an ICE facility a few states away, or maybe on the other side of the nation. Your friends and family will not be informed and will have no way to find you until ICE decides you’ve had enough and let’s you go. Assuming they don’t just deport you for the hell of it.

Remember, until you prove you’re a citizen, you don’t get due process. And of course, without due process you can’t prove you are a citizen.

And China doesn’t have any black people, for whom facial rec is notoriously inaccurate.

Oh, yeah, false positives all over the place.

If you get ensnared by this little scheme, make the best of it. Keep track of everything that happens during your detainment, down to the slightest inconvenience, because you are going to blow that up when you get your case into a courtroom. The first line kinda ignores the minorities in China. It’s mostly Han so the minorities suffer similar discrimination there due to lack of representation or excessive regional enforcement

I’m not saying that China doesn’t have its own forms of racism and discrimination, I was just pointing out that studies have shown that facial recognition systems are far less accurate with black people, which America has in far higher numbers than China. If there are already going to be false positives for a country like China, it’s going to be much higher in America, where we have a population segment that doesn’t really exist in China, which has a notorious poor accuracy for facial rec.

Doesn’t mean a lot online, talking to a bunch of people who don’t know you from Adam. Better to start speaking like this in person with your neighbors, preferably not in range of any recording devices. A single neighbor that knows that you’re willing to raise up arms in their defense is worth more than any number of online strangers that you couldn’t possibly help defend

On an unrelated note, the Second Amendment is not just for conservatives

Also, maiming makes them an overall drag on their family. So, not only would the shitstain suffer the consequences of signing onto a Nazi movement, but their family would be burdened by it too. Also, it would cause that maimed person to serve as a warning to other would-be shitstains: let this serve as a warning about what happens when you sign on. It’s not just about the maiming, its about sending a message.

The Vietkong knew this and employed this mentality well in Vietnam.

Yeah, in a way they’re really just saying out loud the quiet part: that their job is to arrest people who “don’t look right”, quite independently of being an illegal immigrant, legal immigrant or even a citizen.

Having the “app” as an intermediary in the decision process is just a “computer says” way to isolate themselves from the responsabilities of what is in fact their choice (as the app was still configured/trained per their instructions so it’s nothing but a computer agent dirctly or indirectly executing their instructions)

Over 70% of the government of West Germany in the 1950s was made up of Nazis. De-nazification literally never happened anywhere except the USSR. The USSR even had to build a wall in Berlin to keep the Nazis from coming over and fucking with things.

The USSR put plenty of Nazis in power. The problem they had was that there were a lot of Nazis or Nazi supporters. It’s hard to say how effective the USSR’s denazification was, they didn’t let us see a lot of their data at the time. Looking at the map for AFD support though, I’m not sure it has as long term of an effect as it should have.
