As much as they use “hackers” for scaring everyone these corporations likely don’t actually care since they know it’s only a handful of people. They know they just need to be stubborn enough for someone to forget after even only a couple months, or to create a boogie man to discourage them from fighting back.

That’s why every job and every application process demands that prospective employees have their own car and their own smartphone.
