Wtf? I am like so done with reading anything else today(tonight). Yep, Ima nope off the news media for a few days. Here lies my issue. I take a break from a few headlines for several days, quick getaway, unplug, relax& unwind. All good, healthy & life affirming. But the goddamn second I tune back in, the level has been lowered to an unprecedented level. Exponentially. I feel like I gotta stay in it & not be deterred by all time lows being met in a variety of ways on an hourly basis.

I mean c’mon, let’s not get too carried away, next thing ya know they’ll be wanting to tax the billionaires or something.

Chiming in to say I am tapping out & pretty good with enough stories so eternally wretched that the fact/fiction line is too blurry at the moment.

The “I can’t bring myself low enough to identify as republican anymore”. Still a conservative if not even now leaning harder to the right. They are petulant house cats. Utterly reliant and totally dependent upon a system that they have absolutely no appreciation or respect for.

Nailing jelly to a wall.

My grandparents were asleep when lightning struck a tree perhaps 10 feet< away just on the other side of the wall their headboard was against. I recall that there was a window next to their bed. My grandfather said he thought the house was exploding because of the way everything was illuminated. I was asleep about 20 feet away across the hall. It still feels like the loudest noise I could ever have imagined. I didn’t have a window looking directly at it but the entire house was lit up. Quite the ”shock” being awoken from a deep sleep with the combination of lightning & thunder. I remember how much it smelled like ozone as well.

This scenario sucks about as much as something can in a global game. Per chance it could instill , inversely & conversely for all to aspire to betterness with no bitterness. We really can’t (In the USA) understand the gravitas’s of said scenarios until theses ICE jackboots began hitting the ground full force in these brutally bullshit manners. The planet is kinda upside down for a moment. Just remember ya’ll this is a thrill ride and it’s way more real for some than others. By that I mean I am eternally grateful and mindful of the safety of that which I live daily life. For some on this planet will never know or even comprehend such profound luxury. Just a reminder to share kindness & love for no particular reason. And most importantly, we need to cover each other’s asses & backs! Just because.
