Maybe not the best option at the moment, but the GTX 1660 TI was a really good value for a long while. About the same power as a 1070. Could probably get one cheap used.
There’s at least one modern recreation of the Duke Controller. I’ve never used it myself, but it seems to be good:

I found a copy of the game online because I wanted to try it out before I considered buying it (I had a feeling I wouldn’t like it). I got maybe an hour of playtime before I stopped playing. The new pretty skin doesn’t do enough to make the game worth it.
I thought the thumbnail was tiny turtles shells…

I actually found this article surprisingly interesting. I’m fairly novice at Python, but I understood the majority of what was being talked about. They do a good job at simplifying things for both new and experienced programmers to understand.

1000°c seems accurate:

Fun little science fact: Heated objects glow the same colors no matter what they are made of. It’s called Black Body Radiation. The color chart shows what temperatures correspond with various “colors” of glow.
I think the image might have just been ai upscaled. Looks like it to me.
It’s called micro b superspeed. It’s basically micro-b with an optional extra connector to reach USB 3.0 speeds. Unless the device needs the extra power rail (like a 2.5" HDD), then you can still use a regular micro b cable to get USB 2.0 speeds.

This 100%. Friend had theirs get to some 50+ Gb. After backing it up to iTunes, resetting the phone, then restoring to the backup, it all cleared up. My guys is it’s some sort of bug, (or collection of bugs), that prevents temp files from getting deleted properly. After the restore, all she had to do was reset face id and log into a few apps. All the stuff was still there minus expected stuff like Spotify downloads.

My longest term podcast subscription. They talk about tech, security, and other nerdy stuff. What I like about them versus other tech podcast is that they come from the early days of Internet and computers.
(What really turned me off other tech podcasts was them dedicating entire episodes to over-analyzing the latest Apple announcement.)
Next you’re gonna tell me the Word logo isn’t a .docx file???
So what is your community? What is its purpose? If you’re gonna post here, I highly recommend looking at the community rules and adding all the proper info.
I love seeing people make new Lemmy communities. It’s even better when people spread the word in places like NewCommunities, but it doesn’t help you much if you’re missing all the info (and the proper link).
