To be clear, if you told me a decade ago I’d be unironically typing that sentence I would have called the police on you assuming you escaped from an asylum. But here we are.

They’re great.

Dark Knight was the best and I think that’s a pretty common opinion. It wasn’t just Ledger’s performance. That installment went for a more “real” angle than the other two. It was much more grounded. The pacing was also really good. I saw all 3 in theaters and Dark Knight was the only one that got applause from the audience at the end, which is something I’ve only seen happen a few times in theaters.

I have a 20 year old coworker I constantly ask probing questions about what it’s like never having not had the internet. It’s so weird.

I mean crushing boredom isn’t a thing anymore because of it, which is cool and I can acknowledge that. But there’s also something very dystopian about it and clearly it’s having pretty serious negative effects on society, politics in particular. So yeah…not really sure how to feel about it.

I just went camping and put the goddamn thing in a bag for 4 days and forgot about it. Friends and I only brought the internet up once during the trip to joke that we hoped when we got back into reception we’d find out he had died. It’s funny cuz I don’t even need to say who.

I like this comparison because the reason Jetson could work so little was because of the technological advancements.

We live in what people from just a couple centuries ago would consider a wizard magician magic world because of the insane technological advancements we’ve made.

So why the fuck are we still working this much?

The answer is simple. Because the fruits of our labor and humanity’s advancements have been stolen from us by a greedy minority. And we aren’t nearly as mad about it as is necessary to get what we deserve.

This is what you get when you can’t see the forest for the trees and allow conservatives to outvote liberals. Conservative reality will always be clown reality. And you will live in it unless you take the necessary steps to prevent it, even if you happen to be kinda sorta mad at the Democrat party, which is justified, but do you really want to keep doing this?
