I played the finals before launch and i thought the same thing. I assumed it’s so the announcers don’t just repeat the same 4 phrases like in a fifa game, or say things that are more relevant. But they really don’t so i don’t see the point. Arc raiders is the same. You could take out the voice acting completely and it wouldn’t even change all that much. They only did this because of the backlash.

Me and my friends used to hate watch uwe boll movies, and postal was certainly the best of his bad movie repertoire. One day we accidentally had the audio commentary on, and that was a game changer. Holy shit, uwe boll talking about his movies is so unhinged and funny. Not because he is actually funny, but because of the things he says and how often he talks with or about his dogs in the room. Corridor on youtube have some great videos on why A.I “art” looks the way it does. The idea is that it always tries to offset colours. If it has a bunch of light colours it needs to have a bunch of dark colors. Overall that gives these pictures that cartoon look, and why they pretty much always look the same or similar.

I dual boot windows because of a few things that don’t matter too much to me, and i haven’t really figured out wine as much as i should. Anyway, i booted up windows again after like 5 months. I hated every second of it, but overall, nothing of note happened. The next day, i had to boot windows again, and when i shut it down, it gave me the option to update and reboot or update and shut down, nothing else. I should’ve just unplugged my pc, but I updated and shut it down and left my room. When i came back a few hours later, my pc was stuck in a reboot loop and i couldn’t really boot anything. Just fuck everything about windows.

I really like that my car is pretty damn quiet. Especially on start up and crawling speeds, so when parking for example. In every garage the car was in someone told me that they can remove a screw or something from the exhaust, so it’s always open and makes loud noises all the time. They all were pretty perplexed when i told them that i absolutely don’t want that.
