Ever have a bad headache & decide to go to bed? I’ve had headaches that were more painful than getting a tattoo. If you’re getting a large enough tattoo, you’re relaxed, and the setting is comfy enough, I could see falling asleep a bit.

I’m sorry if it came off that way, but I was not trying to be critical of your idea at all - I was trying to see how many people would be impacted, and I think you could easily get away with limiting the amount of inheritance even further.
I think being a worker gives a person perspective that is critical to their development, and no one should inherit or be given enough money that they never have to do any work in their life.
Not only does unrestricted inheritance directly cause the development of a disconnected wealthy class, but it’s also bad for the people who inherit too much.

I was interested to see how the numbers would play out for this idea
According to https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/median-household-income-by-state the median household income for a single person is $41,382 in the United States. 15 times that would be $620,730
According to https://wealthvieu.com/average-inheritance/#average-and-median-inheritance 92% of inheritances would be well underneath this amount
Assuming that your limit was meant to apply to individual recipients and not to the entire estate, this seems like a pretty modest proposal to me.

I was going to comment something along these lines with the war on drugs, but legal slavery for imprisoned persons is a huge part of why the war on drugs was pursued and persists.
A pint in the united states is 16 fluid ounces (473.18 ml)

The game industry really needs GTA 6 to be successful for so many reasons. They cannot afford to ruin any part of it with GenAI
Edit: Edited AI to GenAI for the pedants out there

They’re trying to see if the most delusional AI people will pay less subsidized rates
The output of dmseg or journalctl might show you an error message related to networkmanager to give you some clues

They know private equity is almost tapped out, and whoever is first in this latest round will grab the largest portion of what’s left. I don’t know if it’s the end game, but all but the most delusional investors are starting to ask where the returns are after years of the same promises

If you don’t log your activity on Strava, you don’t get any fitness gains

The data is indeed encrypted, but both you and the VPN provider have the keys - that’s why they advertise no-logs policies, because they have access to the data you send, such as which website you’re attempting to visit.

Is limiting the frequency of public disclosures of information a sign of a strong economy?

I’m trying to be open to this idea of yours, but I don’t understand why one would use AI tools instead of simply not working on the project and taking a break.
If the users aren’t paying, they’re not entitled to updates and fixes - they get them when the developer has the time and willingness. AI tools actively create worse code that will make future work harder.

That is one of few use cases of AI : to cheat instead of getting good at anything.
Hey @anaisrim@fedinsfw.app you forgot to mark this one as NSFW

We all know AI doesn’t serve society, but I’m shocked that shareholders aren’t revolting based off how much cash has been incinerated for no good return
Trump was seen as having an electoral boost after the Pennsylvania shooting.
Trump is in a deep hole with the electorate over the Epstein files, the economy, the Iran war, and support of the genocidal Israeli regime
Trump has used very blatant & underhanded tactics in the past, from the 2020 electoral certification Coup attempt, and the recent doordash PR stunt.
There will always be some amount of people who will not accept things at face value, but with Trump, experience has shown that waiting for evidence before believing what the administration is saying is a wise move.
TL;DR: a lot of sketchy crap happens in this administration and people think anything that might turn out well for Trump’s voter polls is manufactured
