Using AI for everything rather than learning stops working entirely once you hit upper level courses - I can assure you most people who do this beyond sophomore year will not obtain a degree, especially at any research-oriented institution
Just a snek on the internet | Call me Doppler (or just Snek) | He/they | Forever in love with my Cuddlefish 🖤🩶🤍💜

On top of everything already mentioned, I’m sure them generating their in-game assets with AI probably doesn’t help either
It’s referring to a recent TikTok trend called “Subway Takes” where a guy with a microphone asks people questions on the NYC subway and posts their strange answers

Mainly because I’m too lazy to toggle back and forth while typing and prefer to long-press to type dashes and quotes and such. I liked FlorisBoard because that was toggleable similar to Gboard but it respects privacy (most other privacy-respecting apps I’ve found have been somewhat lacking in the customizability department)
Not sure why you’re getting downvotes for asking a question lol

I absolutely adore these little collections of art you post - thanks for sharing!
I’ve seen deer do this with my driveway a few times. They’ll run full-speed all the way up to it, look both ways, walk across, then start running again. They’re way smarter than we give them credit for

I highly recommend giving FlorisBoard a try. Still in early development but I use it as my daily driver and it’s great

Mainly a compatibility thing afaik. For web stuff it’s actually pretty great but people don’t like not being able to download it in a format that works with image viewers and editing apps
I’m really glad you so effectively censored the word b*ttom, I wouldn’t want my poor innocent eyes to be exposed to the top-right pixels in the letter o

I think largely it stems from the targeted infantilization of disabled people throughout most of Western history. Adults who are stripped of rights and treated like children for the convenience of a society that doesn’t feel like helping them (see: institutions) tend to start seeing parental roles in their life as sinister, because they tend to make decisions on their behalf and remove any personal agency they may otherwise be afforded.
Combine this with fundraising efforts that once again, treat disabled people as pitiable, helpless, and childlike, all to raise money that never actually goes towards helping them (see: telethon), and you have a system ripe to force people who want an actual life to push away offered help and become radically independent.
That, and unfortunately, an attitude like yours is relatively uncommon. Being patronized and dehumanized by their parents seems to be a much more familiar experience to most than being loved by them.
Apparently malware, according to uBlock
I’ve always found that interesting because I find serif fonts much more difficult to read
Nah, it’s something called Bionic Reading that can help make reading faster for people with ADHD. It’s kinda pseudoscientific tho - I find it works decently for me but it may just be placebo
Reminds me of this screencap I took years ago

I’ve been running calculations for the last 10 minutes trying to figure out where tf you got 7460% from lmao
This is beautifully written

Great read, thanks for sharing!
This is one of the only reasons I have yet to fully de-Google. Maybe once CoMaps gets traffic data…
