I’m glad they’re performing as well as they are in a war for survival, but the gamification of killing makes me very uncomfortable.

Now that’s my cat’s job. Never again will I buy a case with a top mounted power button.
The point is that he literally goes by a pronoun, not that it’s a bad show.
While it’s still probably not wholly original, the Odyssey is about 8 centuries older than the Aeneid.

Obviously I can’t remember where, but I recall reading that walking through perceived thresholds can act sort of like clearing your brains “cache”, which is why we often forget what we went into a room for.

Step #1 in my note book today

Employers*, I hope?

I’m not knocking this idea, but it seems like a common misconception that all heating is just waste. A heat pump, for example, gives more heat per unit of energy than just the basic one to one of resistant heating.

I don’t think it’s technically the very first line in the book, but The Way of Kings’ “Szeth-son-son-Vallano, Truthless of Shinovar, wore white on the day he was to kill a king.” still gives me chills.
I don’t know if it’ll work for you, but I often can’t read for long periods anymore either. Audiobooks aren’t enough stimulation on their own, but if I find a combo that uses just enough of my brain, I can make it through quite a bit.
For me personally, I play Mario Kart on a muted TV often while listening to books.
Who would benefit here, big Conch?

I’ve actually tried to live by the opposite. I wouldn’t buy a house with a full bladder, but I think it improves the quality of snap decision making.
A friend and I used to track our Overwatch ranked results based on how badly we needed to pee. It wasn’t very useful data, but it was funny.
I guess I’m one of them. I’ve never used LaTeX, but I don’t know how else I’d pronounce that.

I’d never heard of him before the recent Game Changer episode. Now I’m in love
Honestly if you don’t have a ton of other options, I don’t hate this. I always wanted to get several super thin flatscreens and set them up playing 24/7 nature livestreams from different sources. It would be like gazing out portals to different parts of nature.
Sure, being out in nature would be better, but it’s better than blank walls and parking lots.
I’ve been thinking about this recently while playing Hades 2. I bet it’s a memory thing. Much easier to remember your potion recipe if it’s rhymes and has a good meter. “Newt’s eye” works fine in a list, but “Eye of Newt” scans better in a given situation, for example.
My cat’s main redeeming feature is that I can slide my legs under her entirely to readjust positions and sometimes she doesn’t even look at me. Try to touch her, on the other hand, and it’s death.
My dog behaves like the cat in this meme.
Ok, I agree with this statement, but I don’t think the meme delivers this message in a clear or succinct way.
