I daily drive FreeBSD and have tinkered with Plan 9 and Haiku.
My Linux desktop (for gaming, DRM, and Linux-specific stuff), my wife’s laptop, the kids’ laptops, and our two media PCs all run Mint. It’s great.

You just end up making Juggalos a terrorist organization.
It’s all upside then!
I too came to “Comic Strips” for fair, sober, straight-laced sociology.

I’m aware that this is Epstein, not Trump.
But when you have a credible victim accusing two men (who were close friends) of the same crime, and one (or at least, the estate of one) promptly settles … you have to look a bit askance at the other.

Trans rights are a niche issue, in that only a very small percentage of people are trans themselves. But that’s what makes trans rights a vital litmus test for politicians.
Will they uphold the human rights of a group of people whose votes they don’t need in order to win?
Not only would I be okay with that, I’d hope they then replaced all my avatar images online with that photo.

Or it was retrospective.
“Frank what the fuck have you been doing while I was away visiting my family?”
“Um, er, ah, dodging the draft! Yeah, that’s it. Certainly not a month long bender.”
😜

Dumbfucks will always dumbfuck. Trick is to get the voters who stayed home. The numbers I found with a quick search …
Trump won 49.8% of the popular vote.
Of the 65.3% of the eligible voters who voted.
Which means actually only 32.5% of Americans voted for him, in the sense of “could be arsed to get off the couch and cast a ballot”.
That’s an encouraging number to work with.

Oh is this one of Mr. Bonesaw’s ventures, or a different thing?

A subset …

Allowing for currency conversion it’s USD8.23 / gallon here in Victoria, Australia.

As a Rand and Mises loving capitalist myself, I’ve always thought the domino effect theory is all kinds of stupid, and could be seen as an admission of weakness by capitalist countries, & by capitalist philosophers and economists.
Economic theory[1] suggests that a Communist country will fail economically - and that’s in the best case where Communism has very strong popular support. Probably what will happen - and indeed what has happened every place it’s tried - is some combination of economic failure, gulags, famine, mass murder, and eventual abandonment of Communism. Furthermore, intervention will give failing Communist regimes an excuse for their failures.
So why intervene? Intervention / war is not in the interests of the US or her allies; it’s just another form of colonialism; it’s very expensive; and if the US is right about the evils of Communism[2], the world will pretty quickly see how poorly it performs.
The answer of course is cronyism and corporatism 🤮
[1] The ones I agree with, anyhow 😉
[2] And I think it is.

I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure you could set up a registered non-profit (“Cycle Lane Awareness and Promotion”), and have that charity set up & own a towing company (“Cycle Lane Towing Co.”). Then have the articles of incorporation of Cycle Lane Towing Co. specify that all profits go to Cycle Lane Awareness, which in turn spends them on … cycle lane awareness and promotion.
Then make an app + mobile Website for cyclists to report parking like this with a few taps / clicks …

That’s not true!
… he never cares about anybody who shouldn’t already be in jail for life.

Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa

… maybe?
With the disclaimer that I’m not at all sad that Khomeini was a casualty, Trump’s illegal war against Iran is set to provoke some real attacks in, probably, quite short order.

Or progress back to it … modern corporatism is a long way from the rights-respecting free trade that was originally meant by capitalism.
Ludwig von Mises of the Austrian school of economics, writing in the 1920s …
No chapter of history is steeped further in blood than the history of colonialism. Blood was shed uselessly and senselessly. Flourishing lands were laid to waste; whole peoples destroyed and exterminated. All this can in no way be extenuated or justified. The dominion of Europeans in Africa and in important parts of Asia is absolute. It stands in the sharpest contrast to all the principles of liberalism and democracy, and there can be no doubt that we must strive for its abolition. The only question is how the elimination of this intolerable condition can be accomplished in the least harmful way possible.
I think I’ve just found the perfect GIF for the AI-pilled.
