The Epic v Google case was settled recently, in November, I guess they were waiting for that.

The oldest upload of this photo I could find is on the facebook page of St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre, from 2020: https://www.facebook.com/stcatharinesmuseum/posts/3816671921684055/
[…] this great 1939 shot of “Captain” Oscar Fletcher riding his 22 ft. long model ship of the RMS Queen Mary.
Toki Pona (translated as ‘the language of good’) is a philosophical and artistic constructed language designed for its small vocabulary, simplicity, and ease of acquisition. It was created by Canadian translator and polyglot Sonja Lang with the stated purpose of simplifying her thoughts and communication. The first drafts were published online in 2001, while the complete form was published in the 2014 book Toki Pona: The Language of Good (referred to as lipu pu in Toki Pona).

Is this about the adblock delay, or some actual performance issue?

Also QuickShare is not an Android feature, it’s Google Play Services (GMS) feature, it doesn’t work on degoogled android phones.
Here is the issue about implementing it in microG: https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/issues/1272

The image didn’t load for me, but xcancel is still working:

Here in all banks card payments are free, as it’s included in your monthly plan. But you have to pay for transfer and for cash withdrawal. Mine is just a small a local bank in a European country. But banking is very different here from the US (from your comment history I guess you are from America), e.g. credit cards are rare, everyone have debit cards, cheque payments are non-existent.

So Signal gets less, but you pay the same, right?

Is it common that you have to pay for that? Card payments are free in my bank
There are dedicated communities for sharing your own art: !artshare@lemmy.world, !imadethis@lemmy.zip. This would fit there as well!

It’s the former, but he is not even a local guy, he is just interested, Ottwiz, aka Attila Kun:

His 2 presentations on the topic are linked in a comment:

I have 3, played through multiple platformer games with friends, but I haven’t experienced any noticeable latency, I use them only with bluetooth. I also use xpadneo
Have you tried updating the firmware from a windows VM? You need the xbox accessories app there, I think you can upgrade the firmware without a microsoft account. Connect the controller with a wire and pass it through to the VM, and upgrade from the app there.
I also needed to pair it first in the VM, without it BT didn’t work. I just followed everything from the ArchWiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Gamepad#Connect_Xbox_Wireless_Controller_with_Bluetooth
I haven’t followed this software and company before, what do you mean, what is the catch?
Adobe doesn’t offer any of its software for free except acrobat reader, where you get nagged about paid features constantly, but it’s easy to ignore.
Why shouldn’t I recommend this over cracked Photoshop? Its features seems like closer to PS than Gimp or Krita.
Searching for it doesn’t yield results, and wiki says in the 1980’s they didn’t find evidence for this:
W. D. Simpson speculated that a motte might lie under the present castle, but excavations in the 1980s failed to uncover substantive evidence of early medieval fortification. The discovery of a group of Pictish stones at Dunnicaer, a nearby sea stack, has prompted speculation that Dún Foither was actually located on the adjacent headland of Bowduns, 3 miles (5 km) to the north.

That interface is the “osm website” or usually called “osm.org”, a related project, but it has a different license and maintainers, and it’s just only one way to see the OSM databse. Source code is here: https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website
If you click on the Edit button by default you will be redirected to another project called iD editor, again with different license and maintainers: https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD
I usually use JOSM, Overpass Turbo and OsmCha to see the live database, and they are all semi-independent projects.

OSM is a database. It doesn’t have a a “language”, as it’s just a collection of tags and coordinates.
It sounds like you want to see a map where the name of features are displayed in English. Some notable renderers where you can set the display language:
Note that it should fall back to the “default” name when no English name is given, so don’t expect every text will be automatically translated or even romanized
!dailygames@lemmy.zip is a very active community where they post a lot other similar stuff next to wordle
I’ve seen slightly offtopic posts deleted here, even after some interesting conversation in the comments. I think Lemmy is small, and it could help the platform if conversations and posts are preserved even if they are not 100% on topic. But I respect the work of mods, it’s their decision how they run a community, even if I don’t agree with them all time.
But just as a backup, if things take an unexpected turn, here are some similar, but much less active communities:
This is also to the “low effort” posters, if you disagree with your post’s removal you can post it to other similar communities.
