I’m new to piefed. I was a part of the Reddit migration originally. Since then, I really enjoyed the conversations.
I’m a behavior therapist by day. Otherwise a bit of an introvert/gamer. I’m always up for a conversation. Unless I’m asleep, which is earlier and earlier these days.
Upvote: Things I like or find interesting, other people’s OC and effortful posts (even if it’s not my thing), genuine stuff that makes the community thrive
Downvote: People who are super rude, antisocial content/communication, reportable stuff, misinformation.

I don’t typically watch anime, but “May I ask one final thing?” has been pretty entertaining.
I feel a little scared imagining that lol. I gotta have my bob ross everything is fine scritch scritch happy clouds.
Nothing fancy. Date one after a couple weeks of talking. I made it clear I wasn’t down for physical shenanigans yet. After a drink he got a tiny bit handsy. Second drink, he moved to my side of the table and tried to get very handsy. I paid my half, said I was ready to leave without becoming confrontational. He clearly thought my boundaries had changed with a couple of weak drinks. On the walk to the car, he continuously tried to bully me into kissing him (absolutely not) and then tried to shove me in his car after pressuring me into a hug goodbye. I bit him on the titty and drove home like a maniac.
Yeah this is me as well. I just overthink for hours without a distraction. Give me a phone or something to watch and I’m out in 15 minutes honestly. I feel bad because I know I’m probably degrading my sleep but…as least I’m sleeping.
Just go by your middle name. No need to explain to anyone your personal business. Only assholes are going to insist on calling you something non preferred.
I have money and stuff and I’m where I always wanted to be kinda, but everything hurts. And I could just sleep.
Okay, that’s fair. How about when people ask you for food recipes after comment reply that’s in context? Are bots that good?

Consequences always follow behavior. It’s the goofballs among us (guys and gals) who take negative outcomes and double down.
Just picked up the titanic one at a used book shop for basically free. It was like 25 cents. It’s still so cool.
Uh well I’ve got a clam. But I think if I had bait and tackle?? I’d have many things to try. Including working on my flexibility.

I enjoy watching it on YouTube. I’m afraid I’d laugh wrong in public so I’ve never been.
When I was a kid I discovered Poison the Well and Thursday. Which led me down a rabbit hole, and I never turned back. I still listen to and love those bands as well as a lot of heavy music.
I think the biggest difference between old me and young me is that I’m not afraid to like music people think is bad. My friends at the time were very disinterested in screaming.
So for me when I was dating it was that people were never interested in me as a person, for a variety of reasons.
So for example a lot of people my age have children and look for a mother figure. Or think mothers themselves are not for serious companionship.
Or looking for what I provide as a service (free therapy).
Or it’s a money thing.
Eventually it went from annoying to exhausting. Well, it was not adding anything to my life so why bother?
Rejection is the antecedent for many behaviors, which are often dangerous. So we try a lot of ways to make it impersonal, kind, soften the blow…etc.
