Thanks for your helpful answer.
Do you do all of that on a separate log sever? Or on your firewall? I haven’t found a good way to do that on opnsense that doesn’t feel hacky.

Oh yeah that’s a good idea. Thank you.

I was also using it for notifications but I’ll probably switch to E-Mail for that and find an alternative UP distributor.

Are there any clients or servers that support group voice/video cals?

Does XMPP work with group audio calling and video calling?
Weird must be my setup then, thank you!
EDIT: Looks like their DNSSEC config might be incorrect which was causing my failures.

I think this is a misleading article and headline.
My understanding is that the proposal has now been officially approved and suggested by the EU Council (one of the bodies that can ask the EU Commission to present/draft a law)
It now goes on to the EU Commission who will analyze the proposal and potentially draft a law. However, AFAIK they can also stop the proposal at this stage.
If the EU Commission decides to draft a law and it then needs to be approved by the EU Parliament and EU Council (again). Only at this point does it become law.

Thanks for the tips, was planning on trying this out.

Could be the same issue as here https://lemmy.ca/comment/20114092

That’s the last version that was released before the transfer AFAIK. Someone in the linked thread also said they didn’t see anything suspicious between 2.0.11.1 and 2.0.11.2.

Syncthing in Termux apparently works to some extent. Another option might be Nextcloud? Will def try out some alternatives just in case.

No prob :)

Interesting analysis, thank you :)

Awesome thanks! Will do.

Good to know, thank you. I think the only thing I worry about with BT is vulnerabilities. Not sure if ZigBee is any more secure but I’ve heard of a lot of BT vulns in the past. Probably doesn’t matter for a temp sensor, so probably just important for the dongle/driver being used with HA.

Oh I’ll check them out, thanks

Awesome thanks for the suggestions :)

Good to know, thanks :) yeah it does seem a bit spendy.

Cool :) bonus points for the pearl.de link, thanks.
Very cool thanks for the recommendation.
