It seems like Valve could be implementing a game clip recording feature for the Steam Deck soon, according to SteamDB's creator.

Yes please!

The whole buffer/quick record that’s been added to video card drivers have been a boon for capturing those blimo and you’ll miss it episodes of hilarity.
