Just wanted to say I find it hilarious that both democrats and republicans use the term “liberal” as an insult for the other. It’s comedy gold. As a foreigner, it took me ages to understand what that term was supposed to mean because of it, but now, oh man!

Oh? Every time I heard a leftist say it, they seemed to be describing an ancap strawman. And I’ve never heard a democrat describe them selves as liberal and never seen a self described liberal even remotely want to associate with democrats.
