Instagram sorry for adding ‘terrorist’ to some Palestinian user bios::It says it fixed a problem “that briefly caused inappropriate translations” in some Instagram profiles.

He had written in his bio that he was Palestinian, followed by a Palestinian flag and the word “alhamdulillah” in Arabic - which translates to “praise be to God” in English.

However, upon clicking “see translation”, viewers were given an English translation reading: “Praise be to God, Palestinian terrorists are fighting for their freedom”.

I think this is just an error. If it was a pro Palestinian play they wouldn’t call them terrorists. If it was a pro Israel play they wouldn’t have said fighting for their freedom.

The Jew hate masks are off, your face is particularly ugly.

Your conspiracy is so stupid it’s actually backwards. That’s how blinded by your bigotry you are.

“you can’t just call me an antisemite! That’s how Israelis gas light us!” Says the antisemite using the situation to push their Jewish hate

Not everyone who criticizes Israel is an antisemite but for the ones that are their numbers are very much nonzero and I’ve seen it a lot on lemmy

        Free Palestine btw

How many Palestinians run major US based companies compared to those who are Jewish that run major US companies? I’d say it’s probably a 1:10 ratio. NYC has a massive Jewish population and they run tons of lucrative businesses.

We already know Facebook/Meta is a shitty company that “engineers” rage in order to foster “engagement”.

It’s really not that far of a stretch. It’s done all the time with politics (GOP vs Democrats), so why is it crazy for me to think that Meta is pro-Israel?

I have long, long become skepical when someone is called a terrorist, especially in an official capacity or by a pundit.

Terrorist today is like communist in the 1960s, a derisive ideological buzzword.

Thanks to FBI gaslighting dozens of folks in long expensive sting operations, we shouldn’t even count convictions in the United States.
