Seeing as we never explicitly litigated what happened and mostly just trolled the guy: I mean it would be one thing if the guy came in and made a joke about it sharing the name with another, unrelated movie. Like, ok, sure, whatever. But guy came in specifically criticising the title of a documentary. And acting like the movie was the sole owner of the title, which as was pointed out, was almost definitely taken from the name of a thought experiment. Things get named after other things all the time! It’s fine!

Like imagine this was an instance discussing sports and doping. And Gerard posted about the documentary “Icarus” being released on youtube. Then guy comes along getting pissed and confused that the documentary shares the name with “Icarus”, the seventh episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Guy should just get banned for being off topic. Instead we trolled him for entertainment.
