it almost feels like when Google+ got shoved into every google product because someone had a bee in their bonnet
flipside, I guess, is that we’ll soon (at scale!) get to start seeing just how far those ideas can and can’t scale
Probably my least favorite experience as a dev is finding bad code and trying to massage it into good code, then inevitably throwing it out when it breaks and starting from scratch when I understand things better. Sounds like copilot would just spray garbage code at me until I switch careers.
As I said previously, it’s a great long term earner
Just not sure I want to do that kind of cleanup a lot. But I weep for how much of it is going to be generated before people learn
