          this is awesome! I don’t think I’ve got permission to view the google drive folder and grab the SVG though. if not too inconvenient, would you mind if we go old school and email it? address is my username at this domain

              hmm, I might refill the logo a little bit to work better with the dark theme since it’s a bit hard to discern from the background as it is

                  no problem at all! I uploaded an all white version that reads a bit better on the top bar, and the yellow/black one I’ll save for the maintenance page

                  I can do a version with the yellow outer cog but a solid white bg inside behind the hand and mashing cogs so it’ll work either dark or light

                    I just hacked up a version for c/techtakes - outside is transparent, gearwheel is in HN orange (#ff6600) and inside is white and black. looks the part in both light and dark themes.

                    that sounds worth a try! it’s hard to imagine how it’ll look at 32x32px, I keep squinting at the current logo visualizing it and now my eyes hurt

                    man I wish I could do per-theme logos. maybe I should start a feature wishlist as we run into small things like this with lemmy
