unfortunately you’re getting a firehose of posts before any moderation actions can be applied, just due to how lemmy and mastodon interact via ActivityPub. viewing awful.systems directly may result in a better experience
lemmy.world is pretty awful and defederation is always on the table, though there might be a mod tool I can create that’d calm down the firehose by quite a bit
also yeah lemmy’s modlogs really need filtering by default. I got bamboozled a few days ago into thinking we had a big influx of banned users, but it was just lemmy.world’s ban list merging with ours in the UI
