Yes but my point was clearly that a developer wouldn’t say it would be mediocre and that the post is a waste of time.

I don’t know how to feel about this remake, on one side is one of my favorites games of all time and would gladly see how a remake looks. On the other side I play this game every now and then and it stills hold very well gameplay wise. The sequel also holds graphically.
I hope they don’t trip over that bar, it’s dangerous how they leave it on the floor

Is the third game any good? I avoided it solely on the promotional material, it looked very much like “not Max Payne”.
The setting doesn’t really fit the theme of the previous two games but there are a few sections in New York that are absolutely true to the originals. The gameplay is great as well, probably the best shooting I’ve ever seen in a 3rd person game. I can definitely recommend checking it out.

Also great fun in first person with a mod.
Not as noir and strange/horror-ish as the first couple, but it’s so fun. Highly recommend it
