Not so fast! Korea’s legislature stopped the president. Trump’s royal bumlickers in congress will allow the United States to get to full fascism first.
USA! USA! USA!
You mean: “America first”
It is almost adorable how people think America needs fascism to be a special form of a globally destructive hegemony.
From what I’ve read, isn’t the president trying to stop the fascism from the NK sympathizers?
No, he’s accusing them of being what he is, a time-honored tactic that Trump also utilizes.
He’s already “joking” about a 3rd term.
Thing is, this clown doesn’t joke.
My current conspiracy theory is that he is gonna get assassinated by the “”“far left”“” (aka totally not the Republican party), which will trigger a full fascist takeover. He’s too old for me to imagine him being able to make it through a full second term, and too unpredictable for Republican politicians to actually want him to be around; so the ideal situation would be to have him publicly assassinated and use that to drum up support for massive surveillance and restrictions on personal freedom.
Yeah even if he doesn’t get assassinated, I do think he’s nothing more than an idiotic puppet for the real enemies to democracy to command.
The biggest joke of all is how American voters believe that there’s any kind of active mainstream left in US politics.
His dad lived to 93 and his mum until 88. He might be with us for another couple of decades
Did they both exclusively eat McDonald’s?
This is where I disagree. I’ve watched this trump fellow for quite some time. The universe has a ginormous hard on for the guy, sure there might be 100 assignation attempts but guaranteed he squeaks through each one of them.
I see it all as a play to push Vance forward. Whether taking over or just as the next candidate
He has 2 options.
First is the obvious saying that there’s nothing stopping him from running for a 3rd term, and once again using Jim Crow era vote suppression and other slimy tricks to win again.
The second option is to just declare that presidency is a for-life position. He can do that, after all.
And he’s making that last part perfectly clear. He is above the law. There are no consequences for him breaking the law, and nothing stopping him from doing whatever he wants. The people who could are so polite that if words won’t stop him, they say more words at him. That’ll do it!
Appeasement has worked in the past right? /s
First is the obvious saying that there’s nothing stopping him from running for a 3rd term
The 22nd Amendment does. And it would take 38 states to vote to change that.
Isn’t there something about insurrectionists not being allowed to be president?
We’re about to allow an insurrectionist to be president.
Pretty sure no silly little written amendment on a piece of parchment will stop him. They sure haven’t before. Those rules only apply when HE wants them to.
I’m not aware of any such thing. In fact, I’d say that makes you more qualified.
I also think it’s bullshit to call Jan 6th an insurrection. I want a guillotine on the Capitol steps and actually armed people going against the police. Not for the reasons they did, just in general.
For those out of the loop: What is going on in South Korea? Asking for a friend.

More like …

Didn’t I hear about him getting a list of military folks who he wants to replace with those loyal to him.
That could be interpreted to mean that he started talking about it first.
That’s basically what Saddam Hussein did.

Life imitates art
ah, only off by 3 years. That’s pretty good for science fiction.
While Israel is off camera to the right
So…
What dry goods we buying? Anyone prepping?
Lentils and beans, baybeee
NRG 5, lentils/beans/peas/chickpeas, pasta, tomatoe paste and vitamins. Always good to have enough of these for a few weeks, Trump or no Trump.

Occupied korea has a history of that to be fair
He doesn’t need martial law, the SCOTUS already essentially declared the president a dictator.
I mean, he already talked about using the military against his political opponents and the mass deportation.
South Korea is an occupied territory of the US empire. Same for Israel. The empire’s territories fall first.
Explain how SK is occupied, and not a sovereign nation state.
- The US has 73 bases in South Korea.
- The US has 28,000+ military personnel occupying the country.
- South Korea has no jurisdiction to charge any of these soldiers, if they commit a crime in their country.
- South Korean military personnel are required to answer to US generals as a higher authority than their own.
We could also spend a while digging into the political and economic control the US exercises over SK, but a literal military occupation should suffice.
Incel King is going to end up like Park Chung-Hee if this continues. Bang Bang Day 2?
