Who? What is he being granted clemency for? The article doesn’t give any background.
He’s one of the longest held political prisoners in the US, arrested officially for killing 2 feds that shot at a truck he was in. There’s a good chance he wasn’t even there based on alibis, and evidence since his trial have been recanted and invalidated but the sentencing was never overturned. His real crime was being a leader of AIM
I missed this among the others and it’s extremely overdo but I’m glad he’s finally getting some relief.
