Reminds me of an Episode of „the rookie” (the response of PDs to acab, that being propaganda)

In one of the Episodes, a black cop has to ride with a racist dude wanting to kill black people, while the entire department is ignorant of that. Then, in the next episode, the whole PD just suddenly starts being supportive and conspiring against that guy without any convincing having to be done, like someone just flashed a new firmware update on them.

And that’s not the only episode like that. There’s the wife of a cop who got addicted once, then got into a clinic and got clean, but even now that she’s clean she is still a gangster doing gang work, because even if you have a supporting husband and got clean, gangsters are and will always be gangsters

Then, there’s that one episode where someone with a disability can’t go to the mental hospital because the family can’t afford it, but there comes the rich capitalist wanting to help the little guy! Also, next episode the family turns out to be wanting to kill the rich capitalist because „They don’t want help because they are the poor family and they want to be poor”

        I could keep going forever.

    But, like, really.

Having police displayed as a cute puppy is the meta of Propaganda.

    1. kids associate the police with a puppy. A puppy is cute. So police = cute
    2. kids are tought that the police is only there to catch Bad criminal who only do things because they are evil. (Because even if you wanted to, you can’t make an episode of a kids show where Timmy the homeless child is arrested by chase the k9 unit by biting off half of their fingers and piercing 2 veines in the process because they stole an apple so their little stray puppy dosent die a gruesome and slow death by starvation, and then is separated from their family)

Edit: oh BTW forgot that Timmy’s family will also be arrested because they can’t pay for the hospital and the ambulance,so happy ending I guess.

Giving you contradictory orders is standard operating procedure for cops whenever they need an excuse to abuse or kill you.

    “Get on the ground!”

    “Don’t move!”

“I SAID GET ON THE GROUND!”

    “I SAID DON’T F*CKING MOVE!”

“Disperse or you’ll be fired upon!”

Kettles (concentrates) protestors into a small area and keeps them from dispersing.

I tried to Google a legal answer here and basically there is none because no LEA will admit that their cops ever give contradictory orders, so on paper there is no problem to be solved and thus no solution is needed.

From what I gather, though, movement is worse than stillness, and if ever a confusing situation arises, it’s better to freeze with your hands visible than do anything else.

I prefer to think of Chase as what a cop should be. As a strong contrast to the cops the kids will later become familiar with; so they can understand that we could do better.

At least, that’s how I felt before he got all the spy gear…

I dont think Paw Patrol was only made as Propaganda, but their inclusion of a police dog instead of just using one of the other words for police or Sheriff is still very disappointing

    STOP RESISTING

they say as they strike again and again, while you futilely attempt to cover your head and crotch from the kicks and nightstick blows.

    STOP RESISTING

they shout as they ‘accidently’ turn off their bodycams.

    STOP RESISTING
