Summary

The Trump administration cut over $1 billion in USDA funding for schools and food banks, citing shifting priorities.

The cuts impact programs supporting local farmers and feeding underserved communities, including the $660 million Local Food for Schools program and $420 million for food banks.

Governors in Massachusetts and Illinois criticized the move, calling it harmful to children, farmers, and food-insecure families.

The cuts, linked to Elon Musk’s cost-cutting DOGE initiative, sparked backlash as Congress considers further reductions to school meal programs.

Return those little snotters to the factories! Schools-schmools. The Holy Church will prepare them for life in no time! Praise Trump, saviour of the USA.

      • Holy savior anointed and appointed by a unilateral agreement between God and Satan resulting from negotiations mediated by the prophet Mohammed, which took place in Vishnu’s palace. The after-party occurred in downtown Orlando at Zeus’s Bar & Grill, which is well known for its diverse deitary offerings.

Apparently, slashing their budgets to the tune of $660 million, will:

“…strengthen the food system for schools and childcare institutions…”

Do you guys think they realize just how full of shit they sound?

I feel for the reporters…he just cut 1billion from the blind!..ran over two cute puppies!.. Deported two mute babies…canceled banking… Destroyed all industrial systems… Raped 3 old ladies and one that was a solid 6…got impeached over the weekend for shooting a goat and drinking its blood right on wall street! And the reporters can barely keep up with all the oozing bullshit. As a reader I can’t handle much more of this myself. I want him to stop and I don’t want to hear his stupid name ever again for as long as I live.

I once again comment that the Trump administration seems to adopt a lot of policy farmers wouldn’t like, for a party of rural areas.

Doesn’t matter. They’ll vote Republican anyway.
