The Saab value proposition is so much higher it’s insane.

Relying on sending our planes to the US for major maintenance and software updates should have always been a deal breaker.

Major maintenance, overhaul and software upgrades on the F-35 happen in the United States.

Fuck that. You want the enemy working on your military equipment?

Make up the money we already paid in some other fee, like a 200% tax on electricity exported from Ontario, and then buy European jets.

    Excellent news.

Buying expensive (and compromised) military hardware from the country that is literally threatening war on us is, to put it mildly, beyond stupid.

I hope the US military industrial complex appreciates just how badly Trump has screwed them. No country that truly respects their own sovereignty will purchase American weapons again.

return existing jets for refund. They are crap, and require Lockheed authentication for every flight. Cancel without penalty payment.

I’ve never understood a single engine fighter for such a massive country. Not even my fav the Gripen. Rafale or Typhoon seem a better choice.
