You can get a shotgun for less then $100.
My favorite for fucking around in the woods cost $125. I have several shotguns around that price range.
You probably should plan to spend more then twice what the gun is worth. Ammo to train, ammo to have, extra mag or two.
At least: I’m probably at 5x what the guns cost in training, ammo, gear, range fees, gas to and from the range (live in a city, so most local ranges don’t exactly let you shoot 5.56) and so on.
Not the cheapest hobby if you’re planning on actually serious about being able to use your guns if something makes that necessary.
There are a plethora of affordable options that are cheaper than a console or a nintendo switch nowadays.
Hi-points aren’t fancy, but they’re reliable and cheap, you can pick up a 9mm pistol for around $200 or less.
Farther up you’ve got PSA, where you could pick up a Dagger (glock clone) for $300 and an AR-15 for $399.

3d printers are cheap.
You can’t 3d print entire (functional) guns, and the materials that you need to print the parts that you can are expensive as hell. You’ll end up spending more.
Although purported interest has never been higher, all the soft white libs I know are still deep in their full-of-shit phase and not doing a single fucking thing to prepare. It’s only the far leftists and people in the center that are on the uptake thus far from my vantage point.
