That’s not entirely true. There was dissent and opposition within the NSDAP, that was just rooted out relatively early
startling free speech advocates who hoped that the billionaire would be their champion
Whether they were startled or not, if they really expected him to be a champion of free speech I’m not sure I need those kinds of idiots advocating for my free speech.
