I was golden. I even had the Bellsprout ready to go. The targetted levelling of that and the Pikachu made short work of Misty.

I’m not a Pokémon expert - my introduction was Pokémon Go - and I’ve soon learned that type effectiveness outweighs brute force and ignorance!
