Since the Pixel 4 series no longer gets security updates, GrapheneOS doesn’t support it anymore and discourage using it for security purposes:
GrapheneOS isn’t available for anything older than the 6 series.
In general graphene OS is better, but on a pixel 4a it might be that their support ends at some point soonish. I heard lineage supports devices much longer, so maybe in your case its better to check this before deciding.
