Don’t get me wrong, he got what he advocated for, I’m certainly not crying or really feeling anything about his death but huh, I guess dude FAFO’ed. I just don’t find the “good guy with a gun” comment appropriate here that’s all even if a small sliver of me goes “yeah, kinda, yeah” because more than likely that guy is very much not a good guy, probably very mentally ill.

    Just my thoughts.

From the bits I saw of the alleged shooter getting arrested, to me it looks like the guy was planning on getting caught. Balding old white men who can shoot like that don’t strike me as the type who run away.

EDIT: Waiting for confirmation on whether the actual suspect is caught or not.

I completely understand, and I actually wish that I could share your perspective. Unfortunately for my “empathy for all” perspective, I couldn’t help but smile when I read that he got shot. Because my mind directly went to the “oh, this is gonna alleviate so much suffering” POV

I haven’t read about, and am not interested in the shooter.

My opinion is only that the world is better off without Charlie Kirk, nothing else at this point.
