The article was very thin on exactly how it will be “HUGE” about the future of TV.
The Pitt is great and that is not surprise. It is E.R.2.0 all the way. It was originally was a spin off of ER that got shelved. There is an ongoing law suit by the Chricton Estate over rights.
One thing the article does point out is that The Pitt was released weekly and I loved that. I quit binging shows about a year ago. Watching one episode a week is how I consume TV.
I binged most the the pitt, but it probably would be better with breaks. It’s a high intensity show, and having breaks between episodes would be good. The fact it actually respects the viewer enough to not have gratuitous padding is notable today, and probably why it’s actually good.

Watching the show weekly allowed me to “savor” each episode.
It is a really brilliant show that tells a lot more story than the format should allow for and there are so many authenticate emotional moments.
It also really helps that Noah Wyle is anchoring the cast. He is one of the best.
I remember reading awhile back the best way tested to watch a show was one episode a day
