They have a constitutional right to bear arms.

I think in Illinois and Chicago there may be laws which restrict that right.
I’m not familiar with their anti-2a laws but I know in my area of WA they could go after them for being in a populated, public or “protected” area like near a bus stop or federal building.
But those would have to be state charges not federal charges.
Yes they do, however their charges had nothing to do with the firearms they were legally carrying.

People are getting sick of Trump. I predict it will swing the other way and Trump supporters will start getting convictions for fairly mild charges.
