      https://www.tmz.com/2025/10/16/hasan-piker-denies-dog-shock-collar-claims/

A twitch streamer named Hasan used a shock collar to keep his dog in the same position during his live stream. Internet did it’s thing and matched the collar to a shock collar with a remote control. Despite him denying it internet pulled up multiple statements from the past such as him saying “shock collars are fine”.

The memes have been awesome I concede:

Hasan Piker (HasanAbi on twitch) has a dog with a vibrating collar for training. Idiots on the internet assume it is a shock collar.

It is a shock collar bud. You could say they assume he’s doing something untwart with it but saying a shock collar isn’t a shock collar is real easy way to lose credibility for your argument.

Can you share some evidence to support that? Several other posts have asked for evidence, but so far no one has shared any.

Several years of experience selling pet supplies and the knowledge that a manufacturer i know of makes two versions that are near identical. One only vibrates and has no metal on the backplate, the version he showed has what appears to be a metal stud in the back which implies it’s a shock collar. He may only use it for vibration but the easiest way to prove it’s not a slick collar is to show the back and model number.

He conveniently refuses to do either and keeps his hand over the backplate.

It’s neither here nor there it’s nothing because they’re both negative reinforcement training and even peta says they aren’t cruel there are just better methods.

That’s not what I meant by evidence. I’m looking for proof that the collar you are describing was actually on the dogs neck. Something like a clear picture of the collar on the dog along with a link to the manufacturer’s website could work.

Then you don’t mean evidence you mean proof. The clear picture of the dog is at the top of the page, he’s provided a passing glimpse when he claimed is vibe only.

You need to get that from him but you likely won’t, ragebaiting is simply too profitable.

why do you use a different picture? the dog is in a completely different position, turning the opposite way, when you can see a completely different collar
you literally link the video, anyone can see it

perhaps you want to claim the “better gasligher” title?
