    Yep.

    9/11 worked.

    It did exactly what OBL wanted it to do, it drove us insane, got us to destroy ourselves and our institutions and economy, and collapsed our empire.

    Strategic victory achieved.

    Very very fucking messy and horrific, but it worked, it achieved its goals.
