Francisco Gaspar-Andrés died in El Paso hospital after being detained at Fort Bliss – his wife was deported to Guatemala without a chance to see him

A Guatemalan man has become the first person to die in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Fort Bliss army base in Texas. His wife of 25 years was deported from the same camp without a chance to see her dying husband.

Francisco Gaspar-Andrés, 48, died on 3 December at a hospital in El Paso, as Democratic lawmakers and immigration advocates were ramping up demands that the camp be closed down amid allegations of inhumane conditions there. The DHS has said such allegations are “categorically false”.

The Nazis at least possessed enough self-awareness and shame to keep this shit hidden from the German public when they did it. They knew what they were doing was wrong.

The Trump administration doesn’t give a fuck. That scares the absolute shit out of me.

Aligator aushwitz appears to be an attempt at hiding it, but I do wonder with the freedom of speech that we somehow still have if it’s even possible to hide something 10% as horrific as even the early stages of the holocaust.

The saying goes that the burden of the leftist is being right too early to be taken seriously, so we should be used to the feeling, but this one hurts the worst.

I think it’s the internet personally. You can’t control it the way you could the radio or TV, even if the tech giants are in your pocket.

I was arguing with a pro-ICE guy the other day about how people are dying in ICE custody, or being sent to foreign countries to die, but I gave up when he said those people’s lives are worthless anyway.

You can’t argue with people like that. They’ll never understand things like compassion or empathy.

Its pretty clear that few of the sickos really believe in a gods judgement. If they did they would know on that day they would be fucked.

Heh, I learned their names from playing Chrono Trigger.

Balthazar & Melchior are the other two.
