Liked the first book quite a bit but got less and less interested in subsequent books. Stopped reading a bit into God-Emperor of Dune.
Always find it interesting to compare Dune and LOTR. Tolkien and Herbert were very very different people expressing their views through the medium of worldbuilding and storytelling.
@early_riser I did read them all but once it went from Frank Herbert into his son, I want to say Brian, I honestly should’ve stopped because they were not so good… But I really like the original trilogy and some of the prequels are okay too 😁
