Sort of like how birds aren’t reptiles (they are) and corvids are not crows (they are, unless you’re a dick about it)

Snakes are lizards for all intents and purposes, but colloquially zoologists and biologists won’t refer to them as such.
Sort of like how birds aren’t reptiles (they are) and corvids are not crows (they are, unless you’re a dick about it)
