As far as I can tell, all 4 major Danish carriers support Sub-6 5G required by Pixel phones, so there should be no problem. Maybe other countries have issues with Sub-6, and people made up some BS about Google “disabling 5G”? Where are you located?
I live in Denmark and have multiple friends with Google/Pixel phones that work perfectly, fwiw.
