    I’ll probably get downvoted for having some hope (cope?) in thinking that Trump really does represent an extreme and not a new normal. There’s no way future DOJ will enforce this asinine “forever” stipulation. In a sane world it would jump them to the top of the list as soon as new leadership is installed, and I do actually think we are going to head back to at least a slightly more sane world

      I agree with you but we have a lot of things to fix and need to take a long look at ourselves, it will not be easy, self-reflection rarely is, but needed. It’s just such a huge problem, what do you do in a country where people think someone like him is a good leader or even person? I guess it’s something people have been asking since forever, but still.

    If he can just invent a new law that says he has total immunity, then the next president can just invent a new law that takes it away.
