Anyone else think its wild that they are phrasing it like a “huge loss” when its just another candidate in the same party and just more popular with voters within the party?
Yeah, I read it amd was like, “Yeah, this is why I can’t get excited for midterms… wait… to the left? They mean like, left leaning Dems?”
It seems like an honest admission that the dems are not left of anything.
I definitely had to read it twice. Really odd word choice
Also just one of my favorite bits of the article:
Zoom in: Kiros, a 29-year-old Democratic Socialists of America member backed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), was born the same year that DeGette, 68, first took office.
Oh no! What a loss to lose the should be retiree
As well they should. Moderate Democrats have spent the last 1.5 years largely enabling fascists.
*15 years

They are not enabling fascists, they are fascists. The controlled opposition.
So much time spent worrying and no time spent asking why.
This article really reads like the old saying, “Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds.” It’s sounds like of the ones who actually lift a finger to care about this transition are using their time devising ways to keep leftists out rather than appeal in any ways to the voters who are swayed. Sure sounds like fascism is gonna make another bold appearance on the other side of the uniparty this time, even though it already objectively did when delegates vowed to vote against their voters if Bernie won.
Its an addiction I guess, as these octogenarian authoritarians decide the only way they will use their power is to hold on to it longer.
If we see them start to deny elections like Trump does we will know they truly will enact fascism before retire and give next generations even a scrap of respect.
Colorado democrats are lousy, they have been for at least 15 years but much longer I’m sure. Fucking sell outs, with their fracking support.
Axios isn’t worth reading.
It’s worth it just to know the propaganda being pushed, the articles are trash.
