In a sense, they are personified, which lead to vulnerable emotional people to have this sort of dependency and a massive fallout when it is unplugged or not accessible. Also, is no one going to point out an 8 year old saying she has a “boyfriend” and she has a dependency on ai?? Where dafuq are the parents?
I’ve mostly seen people take issue when the government puts controls or blocks. I’ve not seen any pushback for parental controls. I don’t hang out on parenting communities though.
